The silverlight app did not download propertly (Deleting the temporary internet files should force a new download) or silverlight did not install properly on that computer. I would think there are possibilities here.

I've done obvious things like disabling anti virus and running the installer in admin mode, but The silverlight app loads fine on my windows 7 pro 圆4 computer. I have tried here using the Windows Installer Clean up which removes Silverlight from the installed programs and deleted all regkeys with silverlight in them. If i try to remove this I get yet another error referring to a missing silverlight.msi file (presumably the uninstaller), with the following message "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" Interestingly, if I look in the add/remove programs, Microsoft Silverlight version 1.0.0.0 appears when I have been trying to install version 3. Unable to install Silverlight, generic error Installation gets to about 83% and fails with the following error.

I've been trying to install Silverlight 3.0 so I can watch some of Microsofts CES 2010 content but annoyingly having problems getting it installed on a Windows 7 (圆4) system.
